We picked up our tractor from Melfort on Friday. It took 3 hours, driving at 20 km/h (14 mph). It was cold and Bill nearly froze, but we finally made it. Here’s a short film of our journey. Click here to watch The Tractor Movie.
When we were on site, Bill noticed something different on the tractor. It appears that our good neighbor, Morris, had dropped off a piece of equipment we needed to make the cultivator work. People are nice in Tway! THANKS MORRIS!
Today is Mother’s Day – so to all you moms out there – Have a Happy One. And to my mother – LOVE YOU MOM.
Here’s a poem by Nicholas Gordon that captures Mother’s Day sentiment.
"Happy Mother’s Day" means more
Than have a happy day.
Within those words lie lots of things
We never get to say.
It means I love you first of all,
Then thanks for all you do.
It means you mean a lot to me,
And that I honor you.
But most of all, I guess it means
That I am thinking of
Your happiness on this, your day,
With pleasure and with love.
Well, gotta go. My darling husband is making me pancakes for breakfast. What a dear!
